QUANTITY SURVEYING BUILDING PROJECT

The project will be based upon three detailed drawings as would be expected from an architect and you the student are required to undertake the works in an orderly manner. The success of this project work largely depends on the students motivation throughout the assignment as the project is student lead, assignment based and should be undertaken after the student has studied or considers themselves competent at Measurement and also Pricing of Building Works.

Part A
Prepare a Bills of Quantities for the Six Houses and External Works based upon the UKSMM7 or your local Standard Method of Measurement (for overseas students).

Part B
Price the completed Bills of Quantities on behalf of the Contract

The student must be familiar with:

The student must:

A Premier School of Building diploma will be awarded on completion of this Project.
