CONSTRUCTION
TECHNOLOGY 1
This course
is designed as an introduction for students who wish to develop
their competence and skills relating to methods of construction
it is part of the maintenance course therefore combinding old
methods with new but may also be of benefit to students who
have a working knowledge of the subject and wish to broaden
their knowledge
The course reading consist of lesson material and an excellent
reference book with twelve lessons as follows;

9 - States and Tiled Roofs (29.29)
10 - Built up Roof & Cladding (30)
11 - Windows & Doors (26.25,23,24)
12 - Partitions / Plastering (36.40)
13 - Plumbing & Electrical Installation (Separate
Study)
On completion of the course the student should have a broad
knowledge of the various methods of construction and be able
to demonstrate how and why it is necessary to have a such
a selection of alternatives and will receive a Premier School
of Building ‘Diploma ’
The course may be commenced at any time and should be completed
within 3 months (i.e. 80 hours of study) depending upon the
students previous knowledge of the subject.
