ENGINEERING measurement |
This course is designed as an introduction for students who wish develop their competence and skills in measuring civil engineering quantities from drawings in accordance with the Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement (CESMM3) leading to the production of a Bill of Quantities.
The course content consists of an excellent reference book together with a selection of small drawings but does NOT include a Standard Method of Measurement as most companies have a copy.

- Structural & Miscellaneous Metalwork
- Tunnels
- Rail Track
- Estate Road
The course may be commenced at any time and should be completed within 3 months (i.e.80 hours of study), depending on prior knowledge, although we allow 6 months.
On completion of the course the student should be able to take off quantities for a variety of civil engineering works and be familiar with the requirements of a Bill of Quantities.
A Premier School of Building diploma in Civil Engineering Measurement (single subject) will be awarded on satisfactory completion of the course.
