BUILDING MEASUREMENT (INTRO)
This courses is designed as an introduction for students
who wish to develop their competence and skills in measuring
building works quantities off drawings in accordance with
a Standard Method of Measurement leading to the production
of a Bill of Quantities.
The course consists of taking-off quantities and becoming familiar
with Q.S .duties and terminology including billing. The course reading
consists of a excellent text book together with a work manual but
does NOT include a Standard Method of Measurement as most companies
have a copy but we can provide a copy if required

On completion of the course the student should be able to
take off quantities for a domestic building and be familiar
with the requirements of a Bill of Quantities. The student
will be
awarded a Premier School of Building ‘ Diploma in Building
Measurement ’
The course may be commenced at any time and should be completed
within
3 months (i.e.80 hours of study ) depending on the students
previous knowledge of the subject
