Each Professional Certificate is comprised of three modules or learning units. They are fully accredited by the University of Chester and are therefore recognised internationally both as qualifications in their own right and can be integrated into other university programmes as Accredited Prior Learning.

Students enrolling on the Professional Certificates will have full access to dedicated on-line resources at Premier and the University. Learning is flexible, with an emphasis on the application of knowledge in practical situations. The Certificates are suitable for those working in the field as well as those hoping to enter it. Students in England may be eligible for Government loans to cover the cost of tuition and should visit The Student Loans Company and GOV.uk for further details.

It is anticipated that in future more accredited qualifications will be developed such as a Certificate in Higher Education (60 credits ECTS), comprised of six modules- the equivalent of the first third of a full Bachelor degree. Holders of the Professional Certificate will be able to transfer their existing credit into the larger award.
